SINY Pizza Tour
Saturdays (by appointment) - 11 am to 3 pm
Come enjoy a slice and a soda from four of Staten Island’s most beloved pizzerias - Denino’s, Jimmy Max, Joe and Pat’s, and Lee’s. In between pizzerias, the tour will visit some local sites, such as the College of Staten Island, Wagner College, the SI Zoo, the Carousel, and the South Beach area, to get a taste of the island. You will also receive a SINY Tour t-shirt. Pizza tours run on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm, beginning and ending at the Staten Island Ferry. Cost is $40 per person. To reserve a spot, call SINY at 347-273-1257. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance.
Cititrek's Staten Island North Shore Tour
Saturday, March 13, 2010 - 12:00pm or 3:00pm
Meet your Cititrek guide at the St. George Terminal of the SI Ferry for either the 12:00pm or the 3:00pm tour. Shuttle service brings you to the Fort Wadsworth and Clear Comfort (Alice Austen House) overlooking the NY Harbor. The next stop is the Snug Harbor Cultural Center with its rich architecture, Chinese Scholar's Garden, galleries, 9/11 Memorial, and scenic walks. The last stop is the Staten Island Museum. A short walk downhill towards the ferry brings you to the Staten Island Yankee Stadium and the 9/11 Memorial at the Harbor. Cost is $25 with reservations or $30 on site. Back to the Beach

This fun-filled afternoon at the beach will take place at the Midland Beach Sea Turtle Circle. Come enjoy live music, games, rides, and food. SINY will be a presence at Back to the Beach with outreach and information about Staten Island. A fireworks display will follow at 9 pm.
Dog Show
June (TBA) - 8 am to 5 pm
The Staten Island Kennel Club will be presenting the All Breed Dog Show at the Midland Beach Sports Field located at Fr. Capodano and Midland Beach.
Back to the Beach
August (TBA) - 12 pm to 9 pm
Our second Back to the Beach event will take place again at the Midland Beach Sea Turtle Circle. Live music, games, rides and food are to be enjoyed by all. SINY will be a presence at Back to the Beach with outreach and information about Staten Island.
Tri/Du-athlon

Participate in SINY’s second annual Tri/Du-athlon. Athletes can compete in a Triathlon (swim, bike, run) and a Du-athlon (run, bike, run). SINY Winter Holiday Cultural Expo

Join SINY in celebrating its Third Annual Cultural Expo at the JCC (1466 Manor Road), where admission is free for all. There will be unique offerings from a gathering of Staten Island cultural institutions, holiday vendors, and not-for-profits. Enjoy holiday music, purchase gift items, and learn about Staten Island's not-for-profits.
